Delightfully British from the sophisticated self-deprecating humour,
e.g. "the Indian drawings weren't Indian enough", through meticulous
enactment with details like the head of the Royal Households speaking
with different accents to servants and to the kitchen staff, to the sad
finale. The second half is increasingly weighty and heart-rending.
