POKUSA (TEMPTATION)
The writer's son is 4 years old so she can't dedicate the movie to him because of the age restriction being 15. The director says that it's been "9 months work, now birth". It's her 5th cinema premiere of a feature movie but she still feels "like a virgin".
Watchable. Similar to "356 dni" ("365 Days") - even Filip is Italian (acted by Dane Andrea Preti) but better because this one kept me watching till the end. As for the plot centred round sex, there's little erotics, it's not raunchy enough. It's more about plastic boobs, plastic women, fan counters, some costumes ridiculous and pretentious. Tacky, simplistic, execrable, the script is full of hot air. Helena Englert vastly mars the movie. At least her make-up is wonderful. Only Piotr Głowacki is superb - as a gay friend. The movie features lots of Polish rap. Only the end credits music is truly decent. Ah, the above mentioned Madonna's song cover is also poor.
