WATCH DOCS ONLINE

МАРШРУТ ПЕРЕСТРОЕН (THE ROUTE RECALCULATED)

Recommended. The film depicts a number of passengers of two taxi drivers: one pro and one in the opposition to Lukashenko. Minsk from the two taxis looks beautiful, neat, clean, orderly. Ordinary political conversations are juxtaposed with a harrowing finale of burning streets and a list of who was arrested or forced to flee the country.

MAMO, WIDAC MNIE? ZONA 2021 (MUM, CAN YOU SEE ME? ZONE 2021)

Watchable. It doesn't show, it rather tells about refugees at the Polish-Belarussian border through an activist's narrative as she reminds her son to wear gloves, tries to heat her house and walks with children through the Białowieża forest spotting bisons. A clear indication at the migrants, known to hide in the forest and sometimes freeze to death, without saying that directly.

CRIME + PUNISHMENT

Watchable. A thorough presentation of the NYPD questionable methods of soliciting funds, of how to use media coverage and of how rebellious officers are retaliated against - step by step.
Is it federal funding that promotes the use of quotas? The documentary never ventures into that domain. With its nearly two-hour duration, I'd expect delving deeper into the reasons.

WSZYSCY WSZYSTKO ZJEDLI (EVERYBODY CLEANED THEIR PLATES!)

Watchable. Too amateurish artistic but about a bunch of very positive people and one strong woman. It's fascinating how her personality has transformed from a Chechen one into a European type.

The volume on Player.pl was excellent but small, white subtitles forced you to watch right in front of the screen.
