PETER RABBIT 2: THE RUNAWAY
Recommended. The continuation of the hit movie, filmed in NSW, Australia, in Atmos sound, with masterful CGIs is eventful but you still want more, the rabbits go even wilder than before but it's all consistent with the story and characters. As the rabbits were learning some life truths, children in the audience turned quiet and expressed their delight at the end. All plots from part one are continued. There are more animals and less McGregor. Even though the Polish version is only dubbed in Polish, the songs have been retained in English and they always convey a meaning. There's suspense, some touching moments, like the reconciliation of Peter with McGregor but, obviously, mostly humour. It's laugh-out-loud hilarious at times, especially the tasting food fragments or when Peter shoves his siblings and cousin around to show he's not the leader. It continues for a while over the final credits and the film ends with the cock and his song.
