WESTWORLD - SEASON 2 EPISODE 1
Recommended. The first episode of series 1 was intriguing. The first episode of series 2 is striking, not least for the seascape of dead bodies. The initial season commenced with reveries which manifested themselves, among others, through subtle trembling of a hand. In the beginning of season 2 Bernard's hand trembles noticeably on a number of occasions as if mirroring those reveries. On a more tangible level the drama reflects what happened in Hollywood over the last year. In real life several women notified about sex abuse committed by movie producer Weinstein. In Westworld female hosts were violated on a regular basis in each role they played. Now the revolution's female-led. A far cry from the beginning of series 1 which shocked me with the amount of nudity and violence. Here they take revenge. Notorious aggressor William is still on the hunt. Shogunworld is going to be opened later in the season. In this episode Asians only appear briefly. "Westworld" is getting a makeover. A fascinating one. With a puzzling ending of the episode. I'm dying to know how it develops.
